When the King of Bollywood meets the Queen of Opera, it’s time for Thodi Daru!

Gioconda, the multi-talented opera singer who is known for her renditions in Italian, English, Hindi, French, German, Spanish, Bulgarian, Albanian, Russian languages, teams up with Mika Singh and Kuwar Virk the rapper to create a fusion singles album, ‘Thori Daru’. This is the first time that a soprano singer has teamed up with an Indian singer for a Punjabi-English-Hindi number.

Mika and Gioconda met at a party. And the musical energy was contagious. “He asked me why don’t we do a song together. And I said, why not!” that followed by Dilbagh Singh’s video where Mika and Gioconda came together and then came the singles with Mika and Gioconda with Kuwar Virk the rapper.

“It is fast, it is fun, and it is different in the real sense combining Punjabi with opera and rap style,” says Gioconda, who is looking forward to the song becoming a rage.
